Samus Aran I'm not sure what I think of this but I feel compelled to review it anyway. The linework and coloring are fine, but I just can't jive with Samus in these proportions. Then again, if the proportions weren't exaggerated like that what would distinguish it from the rest of the Metroid fanart that's accumulated over the years? Is it better to be great yet common or questionable yet interesting? I'm not sure... but I still felt compelled to review. And so the perplexed yet intrigued face of the three-star rating was selected.
Also, Samus appears to be digitigrade here. Was that intentional? Is it mere oversight or a deliberate reference to her receiving bird-person DNA after being taken in by the Chozo? Somehow I suspect the answer is "Sure, lets go with that".
